Mitchell started his real estate finance career in Texas at Cornerstone Home Lending while attending Sam Houston State University. At SHSU he attained a double major in Banking and Finance, with a minor in accounting. 

 

After graduation, Mitchell joined Envoy Mortgage working for one of the top producers in the lucrative Houston housing market. He soon became a production manager and loan originator at Envoy. After spending a decade on the production side of the mortgage industry he moved to Mortgage Banking Solutions, focusing on warehouse line due diligence, mortgage company valuations, and mergers & acquisitions. He is an expert in production, credit risk, and loan operations.

 

Mitchell lives in Houston, TX with his wife, Katherine, and 2 children, where he is a member of the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association, Greater Houston Builders Association, Houston Mortgage Bankers Association, Coastal Conservation Association, and a member of St. Laurence Catholic Church.
