Mr. Klein is one of the nations leading experts on merger and acquisition transactions in mortgage finance. He has helped orchestrate many of the largest mortgage-related merger transactions in the US.
Mr. Klein is renowned for his extensive 25+ years career as Managing Director and owner of several mortgage industry M&A and consulting firms representing sellers and buyers in transactions involving banks and mortgage companies. Clients are confident he will find the partners that are philosophically compatible – as well as find niches, provide service, and implement business plans giving them long-lasting competitive advantages.
He also manages the operational assessment activity for the firm where mortgage warehouse lenders hire MBS to review the operational risks of a mortgage bank warehouse line applicant. This division also performs in-depth due diligence reviews, assessments and valuations of mortgage companies on behalf of companies acquiring them through mergers or acquisitions.
Chuck Klein is a past Director of the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association and has served as a member of Fannie Mae’s Secondary Marketing Liaison Committee. He is an avid supporter of the University of Texas, Austin where he received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 1972. He and his wife Patty live in Waco, Texas where he is a member of the Baylor Scott and White Cancer Center Auxiliary Hospital and a member of College Avenue Baptist Church.
